One Small Step for Man, One Giant Leap for Longevity?

From the earliest moments of consciousness, humankind looked to the stars for answers.Much as our forefathers used astrotheology as a predictive tool, today, we are harnessing science in conjunction with space to see what's happening beneath the hood of our bodies. While the methods have advanced, our core intent hasn’t. Not satisfied with Earthly bondage, our limitless thirst for knowledge and exploration drives us to the stars. It just so happens that, more recently, we’re finding tools to unlock longevity in that cosmic quest.

New To The Field?

One of the most common questions that the Spannr team gets from people outside of the world of longevity is: Where do I start? For all of you longevity-focused researchers and entrepreneurs on this list, that may seem like a petty question, but to the average, interested person looking to get involved, it's fundamental.Sure, we could suggest "go read the research," but if we are being honest, not only is that a daunting task, but a confusing one. That's because if you don't have a foundation in biology, many of the words used in the research are difficult to understand. And a quick search on Google doesn't really help much either. That's why, over the past few months, Spannr has been quietly building out our glossary of aging and longevity-related terms to help assist those looking to implement longevity strategies into their lives.Spannr's goal is to bridge the gap between longevity's difficult yet important concepts with the average consumer who is sick of reading clickbaity headlines filled with questionable research. The glossary is one of many of these tools we plan on launching in the coming months.Although we have only just started down this journey, we plan on having a simple-to-understand definition for every important longevity term. Here are a few we've published:
