Human Longevity To Go Public Through SPAC at $1 Billion Valuation

Human Longevity, a company with the ambitious goal of helping people live past age 100, is going public through a combination with the $345 million blank check company, Freedom Acquisition Corp (FACT).The company, which has raised more than $500 million and was at one point valued at approximately $1.6 billion, represents one of the longevity industry's first consumer-facing offerings.Having partnerships with large pharmaceutical companies including Illumina ($30 billion market cap) and Celgene (acquired by BMY for $74 billion), Human Longevity is no fledgling startup.But should it command a $1 billion valuation?
