Hi... Is weight training part of your exercise routine?
In this week's newsletter:šļø Weights for Brainsš« What's Your Heart Age?
Heavy Weights for Strong Brains

There's no doubt that physical exercise is great for your longevity. However, there are different types of exercises that can impact your body in very specific ways...A new study just revealed that weight training is great for not just your muscles... but also your brain! Here's the gist...Lifting heavy weights increases your brain's ability to process glucose. This, in turn, prevents brain disorders, such as dementia and depression. In simple terms, when your brain doesn't process glucose correctly, it can become inflamed. This inflammation can cause numerous trickle down effects that significantly impact your brain and body health. Additionally, beyond inflammation prevention, weight training (and other physical activities) can also clear your brain of toxins... perhaps even better than sleep! We've written about this before. Specifically how HIIT training has incredible positive impacts for your cognitive health. What's your exercise plan for today? Even if you don't have weights at home, you can do 'body weight' exercises, like push ups or squats.Get after it!Have a great rest of your week,
