In this week's newsletter:👅 AI + tongue = longevity?🗽 NY longevity secrets

Say... aaaahhhhhh

"Researchers in Iraq and Australia say they have developed a computer algorithm that can analyze the color of a person’s tongue to detect their medical condition in real time — with 98% accuracy." (NYP)This is the latest AI tool that doctors and researchers have been using to discover new ways to treat human diseases. Now diseases can be detected simply from looking at color, shape, and thickness of the tongue. Here are some examples:

  • People with diabetes have a yellow tongue

  • Cancer patients can have a purple tongue with a thick greasy coating

  • Acute stroke patients present with an unusually shaped red tongue

  • A white tongue can indicate anaemia

  • Indigo or violet colored tongue indicates vascular and gastrointestinal issues or asthma

This new AI tool is still in development, but maybe it'll be in every doctor's office in the future...For now, if you're interested in accessing cutting edge medical equipment and treatment, consider visiting a longevity doctor near you.
