and a weird skin related resolution

Hey there... is LEV good for the longevity community? And, a weird resolution?

In this week's newsletter:♾️ To Infinity, Soon?🐒 Monkeys and Metformin

LEV by 2029?

Longevity escape velocity (LEV) has long been a hot topic in communities looking to extend their lifespan. But could it be closer than we think? That's what legendary futurist Ray Kurzweil thinks. The former Google engineer and AI-centric futurist said, “Past 2029, you’ll get back more than a year. Go backwards in time. Once you can get back at least a year, you’ve reached longevity escape velocity.”What do you think about this?Is this healthy for the longevity community to embrace?Or is this distracting the public from the actual breakthroughs in medicine and preventative care that are evolving in the world of longevity?Obviously there is no 'right' answer. But it's probably important for the general public to get buy-in on the longevity industry's mission...Anyway - What about those New Year resolutions?I'll give you one of mine: Go to the dermatologist. Not really related to longevity... but it's kind of a preventative health measure, right?
