New research uncovers new benefits...
April 25, 2024 | Issue #99

Hello... Does your morning routine involve getting sunlight exposure?
In this week's newsletter:☀️ Another Reason to Get Outside🌐 Complex work = dementia preventer?
Your Brain Loves Light

You've probably heard all about getting light exposure in the morning, right? Huberman has been harping on this 'longevity hack' for quite some time now...The basic idea is that your circadian rhythm operates optimally when it gets 'calibrated' correctly in the morning. This ultimately leads to better sleep, which is one of the key components to living a long and healthy life. But, now there is new research that points to light - specifically high levels of light - resulting in increased alertness and cognition. This translates to better mood, mental health, and overall well-being. In the past, we've written about red light and blue light, and even chromotherapy (that's especially interesting). It's clear that light exposure plays an enormous roll in our lives - probably far more than most people realize. Often times, the best things you can do for your body are free. So, get outside and enjoy some sunlight! Your brain will thank you, and according to this new research, you'll probably have a better day!
To your health,
